Upcoming Workshops & Events

I create mosaic art for people who love their animals, honor memory, and believe in meaningful beauty.

Winter Market – Saturday, December 20th, 2025

1 - 6 PM December 20th, Alameda CA

I’ll be at this year’s Winter Market alongside 35+ local makers, artists, and food vendors. It’s a great place to wander, connect, and pick up meaningful holiday gifts. I’ll have a curated selection of mosaic pet portrait gift certificates, sacred tools, and small ritual pieces—perfect for anyone who loves art with heart.

If you’re nearby, come say hello. I always love meeting people in person and hearing the stories behind the animals and intentions that inspire my work.

Gemstone & Mosaic Workshops for Kids

December 29 – January 2

Two age-based creative workshops where kids explore color, intention, and hands-on making through gemstones, mask-decorating, and mosaic design.

Ages 4–8: Gemstone Discovery & Mask Decorating

Dates: Dec 29 & Dec 31
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (2.5 hours)

A playful, sensory-rich workshop where young children explore gemstones through color and touch, choose stones that represent a feeling or quality, and use that inspiration to decorate a wearable mask. Kids work with safe craft materials, pre-cut shapes, and optional gemstone details to create something joyful and expressive.

Take-home: gemstone pairing + finished wearable mask.

Ages 9–13: Intention Mosaic Tile Making

Dates: Dec 30 & Jan 2
Time: 1:00–3:30 PM (2.5 hours)

Older students design and complete a 4" mosaic Intention Tile using ceramic tesserae and real gemstones, inspired by my own mosaic practice. Each child selects a personal intention (peace, courage, focus, joy, etc.) and creates a meaningful mosaic piece that reflects it.

Take-home: completed mosaic tile made with gemstones and clay tessarae.

Pinole Artisans — Guest Speaker Event

January 9th 2026

I’ll be the featured speaker at this month’s Pinole Artisans meeting, sharing my creative journey and how mosaic art became both a spiritual practice and a path of service. I’ll talk about the evolution of my mosaic pet portraits, the emotional stories behind them, and how working with memory, love, and loss reshaped my understanding of what art can hold.

We’ll also explore a short reflective exercise where participants create a small symbolic “inner mosaic” based on their own creative path. No experience needed—just curiosity and heart.

If you’re local, I’d love to see you there.

Location
El Sobrante United Methodist Church in the Keisler Room at 7:00 PM.
5151 Argyle Road, El Sobrante
Free & open to the public

What people say about interacting with me.

  • She's as lovely as her art.

I picked it up from the artist’s studio and she’s lovely. I love my bench.”

    Anessa, California

  • She makes the experience feel personal.

Alicia is not only an amazing artist, but she is a beautiful soul. She listened, cared, and made the whole process feel meaningful.

    Megan, New York

  • A true artist with compassion.

Alicia went above and beyond… When the mosaic was lost in the mail, she recreated it in record time so my mom could still open it on Christmas.

    Jenny, Washington

  • A beautiful, healing gift

Alicia wanted to know our story — it helped her create a mosaic that captured our dog’s spirit. It was the most beautiful, healing gift I’ve ever given.
